About Us

Booborowie Primary School is a small R-7 rural school located 200 kilometres north of Adelaide in the Upper Mid North Partnership.

We offer a welcoming and supportive community that is guided by the key values of respect and responsibility. The Program Achieve keys of Confidence, Getting Along, Resilience, Organisation and persistence are also a focus for students.

Our priorities are literacy, numeracy and wellbeing. As such, students establish and develop meaningful relationships with family, school and community through a wide range of events such as the Christmas concert, Mother’s Day Morning Tea and Hub Days with other small schools.

Students are challenged and empowered to identify and utilise positive strategies to improve and facilitate their learning and decision making processes in a safe and supportive environment. These skills and processes help students achieve and sustain a rich learning environment that positively impacts upon them in adolescent life.

Booborowie offers a play centre on Fridays, providing quality programs for pre-school children and supportive networks for parents and caregivers to establish social networks. Booborowie students transition into Burra Community School for their secondary schooling.
